The shawl battle continues

Roo-Bee asked in the comments if the shawl is for me. I'm not really sure who the shawl is for. I have some shawl failures (Kiri and Flower Basket Shawl). At this point this shawl is an unhealthy obsession. I am not letting a few wee balls of wool get the better of me. I will FORCE this alpaca into the form I wish it to take. Hopefully the guys in white coats don't haul me away over this one. If there isn't a knitting deficit at the end of the day, I will post pictures tomorrow.

Thanks for the info about yarn on my site! I actually bought some ull about a year ago because I needed a fingering weight yarn in skin-like colors for the Knitted Babes I was making at the time. I have abunch left over but nowhere near enough for a whole sweater. I agree though, it is so fine it is a pain to work with. Thanks also for the advice about the cold meds. I HATE giving babies medicine period and I am going to take your advice about the Triaminic. My Dr. actually told me to give it to him, but you can only believe so much of what they say. I have learned to think for myself a lot when it comes to doctors and my children.
