I quit counting after 12...
I'm not sure how many times I restarted the pi shawl. I'm optimistic that this is the final try and that I am on my way. I guess I should think about a lifeline. I started on 5" dpn and when I was worried about losing the end stitches I switched to the magic loop.

thanks for commenting about your wheels on my site. I had a question...I've heard the Joy is fairly short. Are you a short person and if not, does this present any issues in using it. I heard it's best suited for smaller folks. I love the look of that wheel. And the packability. I have three kids myself. don't know if I'll have a specific 'spinning area'.
