Possibly the third knitting disaster of '06
I didn't have enough of the same colorway so I'm mixing in the brighter blue/purple. We'll see what happens. Can you tell what it is? I think everyone has knit one but me. It's my first stashbuster of 2006.

With the triangluar end, the many stitch markers, and the comment about being the last to make one (I've not, so you are not the very last), it's a clapotis. Wonderful colors!
Yup, it's a clapotis. It's actually fun to knit. I started Friday and I'll make the halfway mark tonight. A link to it is here: http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall04/PATTclapotis.html for Ron. It's really nifty, first it is a scarf and then voila it's a shawl kinda thingy.
I'm jealous! You've started your clapotis and its going to be gorgeous (I'm still stuck on picking the perfect yarn). I love the mix of colors in yours.
