Finished Sample

 

I used a size "Q" crochet hook and 4 different yarns. I ripped it out and measured and it took slightly under 7 yards of each to make one scarf. I'm going to try a few more and measure before I make the scouts their kits. I did a 55" chain with 13" of fringe on each side to give them room for errors.
