Socks are addictive...

Quite possible socks are worse than smoking. I can't even stop to take a picture, I must knit socks. I really want to try some baby socks. There are some Ann Budd baby sock patterns that are just begging to be knit. I bet I could do a sock in a day. Then, there's this post from the Yarn Harlot - July 22 . I'd really like to make some of those cute little shoes. That post sent me to the library site to search for the booties book. Unfortunately, the library system doesn't have a single copy. The library system has let me down. Well, back to my sock. I'll post pictures when it's done. It's more regia sock yarn that was on sale.

Not much blogging...

Well, between the kids swimming lesson, the neighbor cutting the cable cord (cuting off my blogging ability), and the Regia sock yarn sale I hit (maybe a little too enthusiastically) I haven't blogged much lately. I finished socks, just in time for the 100 degree heat. I don't think my newly finished socks will be going to knit night on my feet.
I'm working on another pair of Regia socks and I hear the call of Kureyon from my stash. I just haven't been inspired about what to make, yet.

I finished another pair of socks. These are Regia Tip & Top Color in color number 4075. I picked up at a 40% off Regia sale at Needleworks. Posted by Picasa

These socks are done, finished,...complete. I started them in March or was it April? I didn't think they would ever end. Gives new meaning to the knitting black hole. Posted by Picasa

Now, there's a pair. These knit up in under a week. My kind of socks. Posted by Picasa

It's a finished object. Why has it been so quiet here? I've been fighting those socks. The socks that shall not be named. They are so close to being done and yet, still so far away. I have put them away for the holiday weekend. I cranked out this sock. It's Elann's Sock-it-to-me Esprit yarn. I believe the color is summer meadow. I made an hourglass heel and a round toe. It practically flew off the needles. Unfortunately, my gauge has changed overnight, literally. The second sock may not quite match.  Posted by Picasa
